FCC Slurry Oil Filtration Technology:

Minimize penetration of contaminants in filter medium- > Surface filtration

Optimal use of filter area at high slurry oil solids content- > Filtration from inside-to-outside

Element cleaning needs to be powerful and effective- > Gas-assisted backwash (steam, nitrogen or (sweet) fuel gas)

When backwash liquid directed back to riser, continuous flow, with restricted solids concentration to be realized- > Sludge removal gas-driven or by recirculation pump(s)
