When packaging designers want new options for protecting and

EXACTTM Plastomers. Thats because EXACT Plastomers deliver

an exceptional combination of sealing, hot-tack strength, tough-

ness and value-added properties.

These properties allow for significant puncture resistance, excel-

lent cold temperature performance and a high oxygen transmis-

sion rate for fresh produce packaging. Additional properties can

increase packaging line speeds and optimize performance.

With a broad FDA clearance, EXACT Plastomers are produced

exclusively using ExxonMobil Chemicals ExxpolTM catalyst and

process technology. They offer significant competitive improve-

ments over conventional polymer products.

Thanks to their consistently narrow composition distribution

(CD) and molecular weight distribution (MWD), EXACT

Plastomers deliver targeted performance without the trade-offs

of conventional film materials.

a balanced combination of benefits that include downgauging

potential and extractables within FDA guidelines even at low

Tough Performance

EXACTTM Plastomers deliver outstanding tensile

strength and dart puncture performance up to

several times that of conventional LLDPE films. They

also can be used as a property enhancer in blendswith LLDPE or post-consumer recycle HDPE.

Improved Cleanliness and Organoleptics

Our proprietary ExxpolTM catalysts produce clean polymers

with low ash and extractables reducing film tackiness and

the need for anti-blocking or slip control additives. EXACT

Plastomers practically eliminate package/product interaction

for superior organoleptics.

Excellent Breathability for Fresh ApplicationsEXACT Plastomers represent a revolution in modified atmos-

phere, gas-permeable films and packaging. In one of the

fastest-growing packaging markets, packagers of fresh vegeta-

bles, fruits, flowers and a growing range of other horticultural

products will benefit from controllable gas-permeable films

made from EXACT Plastomers.

Customers can select carbon dioxide and oxygen transmisson

rates (OTR) that precisely meet their needs, with low water

inclusion bag applications. Toughness and high seal

integrity complement the lower melt temperatures ofEXACT Plastomers, making them ideal for these specialty

a unique family of lower density EXACT Plastomers with excep-

tional softness, tensile extension and elastic recovery. For

thermal lamination applications requiring stretch and recovery,
