Zombieland

Page 3: Film credits and titles

• Zombieland starts off with the production companies related to to the movies (Columbia Pictures, Relativity Media, Pariah production)• It then names the main cast members• Then it has the title• Finally it shows the main production team (Director, Editor, Costume designer

ect.)• It also had other titles for different topics the voiceover was talking about during

the OTS (e.g. Rule #1 Cardio, Rule#2 Double tap)• All the text in this film was bold and sans serif.• This text was an uneven red colour with some black, browns and whites• The jobs of the production team were slightly smaller than the names of the

production team• In this extract it takes 2:47 for the first set of credits and occurs after the

voiceover finished

The Last Of Us

Page 5: Film credits and titles

• In "The Last of Us" , the first thing we see is the title in big, bold, sans-serif, black and white lettering• It then starts to list the main production team and their jobs

in a small, san-serif text, again with the job titles smaller than the persons name• Finally we see the actors names at the very end clip,

proceeded by the co-producers names• In this extract we don't see the name or logo of the

production company• All the text is either a solid white or a solid black to contrast

against the opposite coloured background

The Walking Dead

Page 7: Film credits and titles

• The walking dead opens with the production company in the first shot• It then moves on to the main actors/actresses• Next it shows all of the executive producers• Finally it shows the name of the TV series• All the text is small with a mixture of bold and normal text• The characters first names are in normal while their surnames are in bold• Similarly, the job roles are in normal while the persons name is bold• At the end, the name of the series is in big, bold lettering with a inconsistent creamy

brown to make it look dirty• Similarly to "The Last of Us" , the text changes based on its background• In "The Walking Dead", we only see executive producers, this could be due to it being

a TV series so lots of these roles are changing as the series goes on• We also see that the 3 main actor's names are next to a photograph of their character

while the other less important main actors are shown on a background of the setti
