File Transfer Centurion CNC TIPS are applicable to the Milltronics Centurion I, V, 6, and 7 controls. The procedure to load a file into the Milltronics control starts from the main menu. File management can be done two ways, either through the F8(PROG) or F10(UTIL). Once in either menu, select the F3(FILES) menu. This allows files to be loaded, saved, renamed, copied, and deleted. Load a program into the control can be done by selecting F1(LOAD). Depending upon the machine options, you may have multiple ways of loading files consisting of, but not limited to, floppy, multi-format card reader, and a network drive) To select the correct drive, press the F12(DRIVE) key. See picture on below. A: Floppy Drive E: Multi-Format Card Reader P: Network Drive Select the file by placing the cursor (using the F7 and F8 arrow keys) in front of the file(s) that are to be loaded and press the F2(SET). This will highlight the file(s). Pressing the F1(START) will load the file(s) into the memory of the control. **** If the correct drive location is selected and the file is not shown, press the letter D on the alpha keypad on the control. This will toggle the FULL DOS FILE NAMES parameter and allow you to see files that are produced using cam software, etc..
