File Extraction Utility

File Extraction utility allows you to unzip .pv files. Previously, the software saved all input, output, and intermediate files separately. While the new archiving feature in PV Elite automatically zips all input, output, and intermediate files into one file, the File Extraction utility allows you to decompress the files and view them separately.

This can also be used to decompress the CodeCalc (.CC) and Tank (.TK) files.Procedure1. Navigate to ToolsFile Extraction Utility.2. Click on the browse button and select either Browse for folder or Select last folder.

3. After clicking on Browse for folder, navigate to the folder that has the .pv files.

4. All the files in the selected folder having .pv as extension will be listed as shown below.

5. You can select one file or multiple .pv files for extraction. 6. To select one file, click on the desired file name and click Extract.7. To extract all, select Extract All option.

This will decompress the .PV file into .pvdb, .pvu, .t80, .rig. files.This .pvdb file type is now associated with the program directly.8. Select All will select all the files, whereas, Unselect All will deselect all the files.9. Select last folder will directly navigate you to the previously opened folder.

10. Repeat steps 4 through 7 to extract all the files.2
