EXCLUSIVE POWERS
Exclusive Powers refer to the separation of powers between state and federal governments.
EXCLUSIVE POWERS
For instance the state government can only issue licenses, and the federal government can only print money.
National Powers:
• Print Money
• International Trade
• Make Treaties
• Declare War
• Provide an Army and Navy
• Make Laws
State Powers:
• Issue Licenses
• Regulate Businesses
• Conduct Elections
• Establish Local
Governments• Take Measures for Public
Health and Safety
CONCURRENT POWERS
The Concurrent Powers are those powers that both the National Government & the States Government posses and excersices.
CONCURRENT POWERS
For instance the Concurrent Powers include:• Collect Taxes• Define Crimes & Set Punishments for them• To Condemn• To take private property for public use
