THE SOUTH COAST GOLF TRAIL IS OPEN FOR BUSINESSDespite the devastating impact of the recent South Coast Bushfire Crisis to many towns and villages in New South Wales, the recently launched #SouthCoastGolfTrail and its three highly-celebrated golf courses remain untouched.

In fact, Golf South Coast is now preparing for an increase in visitors and bookings to play, stay and experience its stunning trail following a highly-publicised and warmly-welcomed invitation for tourists to return.

Club Catalina General Manager Guy Chapman said the support from all Australians, especially the golfing community and industry has been overwhelming.

“We are simply in awe of the number of people asking us what they can do to help, and the short answer is to simply come back or book a holiday, stay in our towns, dine in our

restaurants and of course play the #SouthCoastGolfTrail,” Chapman says.

Narooma Golf Club’s General Manager Dominic Connaughton added to the call for tourists to return to help small businesses who continue to count their losses.

“This extraordinary and heartbreaking event is a serious blow to many businesses and by extension all families in the area. BERMAGUI COUNTRY CLUB SITUATED in the heart of Bermagui, and featuring fabulous views of the seaside town of Bermagui, Horseshoe Bay and Mount Dromedary, the 18-hole championship golf course at Bermagui Country Club is truly a beauty.

TUROSS HEAd COUNTRY CLUBLocated between Narooma and Moruya on the New South Wales south coast is a signpost on the busy Princes Highway reading “6 kms to Tuross Head”.

A quiet seaside community of 2000 people located on a headland that juts out into the Tasman Sea, with Coila Lake to the north and Tuross Lake and Tuross River to the south. The township is virtually surrounded by water. So, take a moment, turn at the signpost and have a look around.

Their units are two and three-bedroom apartments all with en-suites for each bedroom, which is great for the golfing groups. Play Pambula/Merimbula Golf Club, Eden Gardens Country Club, Tura Beach Golf Club, Bega Country Club or Bermagui Golf Club. The longest drive is to Bermagui about one hour; the other clubs are between 6 – 25km from Pacific Heights.

Courtesy buses can be arranged for Tura Beach Golf Club, Pambula/Merimbula Golf Club and Club Sapphire (Bowling Club) for transport to their restaurants for evening meals. Fishing charters and restaurants can all be organised by Pacific Heights.
