All Saints Parish - Transition Prayer for 2020

God of new beginnings, we open our hearts to you here in our new All Saints Parish. In all that is unfamiliar, remind us to pay attention; to see what is, and not merely what we remember; to see as if for the very first time. Heavenly Father guide us throughout this time of transition. Empower each one of us to use our unique gifts to cre-ate a beautiful parish life, to share openly and honestly our thoughts, to respect the opinions of others, and to encourage humility, pa- tience and joy. Instill in us a vision of the life you in- tended for us to lead. While we remember that which is precious in our communi-ties and give thanks for the abundance we enjoy, God of Creation, guided by your Holy Spirit, grant that we will move forward united in love. In this new day and in this new parish, help us to joyfully accomplish the mission that has been en-trusted to us, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

All Saints Parish—Serving God, Saving Ourselves

LENTEN PREPARATION: PALMS

As shocking as it might feel, LENT is just around the cor-

ner and so, we begin the planning and preparations. We

ask that parishioners return old

palms from previous years, as they

are turned into the ASHES used for

this year’s Ash Wednesday services.

Ash Wednesday is on Feb. 26, 2020.

Each church should have a location

for these to be dropped off, can be brought into the Cen-

tral Office, or given to the visiting priest to bring with him

DERSTAND there will be adjustments, errors and corrections nec-

essary this initial year. Please help us with this process, with

or challenge.
