Welcome to the month of Love, I hope you all feel at least a little of it within the next 28 days. Happening in the Community Winter programming is underway. Gymnastics will be starting again in March. Gymnastics: Register by Feb. 28 th , 2018 (10 classes) Runs Wednesdays, March 7 th – May 16 th , 2018 excludes Apr. 4 th . Depending on interest will determine how classes are split up, either age or 1 st come 1 st serve Class 1: 6:45 – 7:30 p.m. (8 spots); Class 2: 7:30 – 8:15 p.m. (8 spots) Ages 5 & up $100/child or $68 if you participated in session 1 ($32 GymSask Membership, $68 Registration fee) In Other News: Ladies Bonspiel will be held Feb. 2 - 3 rd , 2018. $180/team, includes a minimum of 3 games and supper, as well as a catered meal on Saturday night with a 70”s theme. Come in your grooviest outfit. Peace out! Mine Spiel will be held Feb. 16 th , 17 th & 18 th , 2018. $80/team – please note this is a different date from previous years. Your last chance to express interest will be at the Parks & Rec meeting that will be held @ 7:00 p.m. on February 28 th , 2018. Each Community Group and Organization that deals in Sport, Culture & Recreation MUST send representation (min. 1 person) the more the merrier! Watch for information on a possible Sno-pitch Tournament happening in March. Volunteering Opportunities: The Allan & District Communiplex is always looking for kitchen workers. Our Facility runs steady every weekend with tour- naments and our beloved Allan Flames playing on most Saturday nights. In order to keep our facility operating we largely depend on the revenues generated from the kitchen. That being said we greatly appreciate the time that our volunteers spend serving up the tasty rink food that our kitchen has to offer. In March we will be having our 2 nd annual appreciation BBQ and have a couple tablets, some gift cards and movie passes to give away to our volunteers as a thank you for your support. In or- der to get your name into the draw all you have to do is sign up and work a 4 hour shift. Please give me a call if you are availa- ble to work any weekend from now until the middle of March. For each shift you work, 1 draw ballot is entered. The more you volunteer the more chances to win! 306.257.7799. Happening in the Community

Winter programming is underway. Gymnastics will be starting again in March.

May lottery tickets are for sale starting

February 1st. Tickets will be sold at the Town Office

and by the Museum Board Members. Tickets are $20

each and a total of 100 are sold. There are 12 cash

prizes totalling $1000!

The Allan Community Heritage Society and Museum is ex-

Kindergarten Registration Allan School is now accepting registrations for Kindergar-ten for the 2018/2019 school year.
