Singing,fellowship,worship,biblestudy,servantevent,speakersandelecUonsarenormallypartofadistrictconvenUon,however,duetotheCOVID-19pandemicthisyearisnotnormal.OnMay16ththeLWMLNIDExecuUveCommi\eevotedtocancelourfacetofaceconvenUonwhichwastobeheldSeptember11-12,2020.ThisdecisionwasmadebasedupontheguidelineswhichhavebeenissuedbyboththeCDCandourgovernor.
ToprotectthehealthandsafetyofourLWMLconvenUona\endees,theExecuUveCommi\eedirectedtheConvenUonCommi\eetoinvesUgateholdingavirtualeventonornearSeptember12,2020.

andBoardofDirectorsfortheLWMLNID.ItseemedfihngtowalkthroughthecomforUngwordsofPsalm46

offindingrefugeinanothercountry.Manylosttheirlivesbeforetheyeverfoundthepeaceandsecuritythey
werehopingfor.
Itdoesn’ttakeahumanitariancrisisoraglobalpandemicforustorealizethatinawayweareallrefugees.
Weareallseekingpeace,securityandcomfortinabrokenworldfilledwiththreatsanddangers.Sinandsatan
areourrealenemiesandsooDenitfeelsliketheyhaveusontherun.Wearelookingforrefuge.Weneed
refuge.Yet,whatweneedandwhatwewantcannotbefoundonamaporobtainedbycrossinginternaUonal
boarders.TruerefugecanonlybefoundinGodandGodalone.Toobtainthiswetoomustpassthroughthe
waters,thatisthewatersofHolyBapUsm.Itistruethatinthosewaterswedrownanddie.Ouroldsinfulna-
tureisliterallyputtodeathinorderthatoutofthosewaterswemightemergeasHisnewcreaUonsinChrist.
OursafepassagethroughthewatersofbapUsmmakeyouachildofthelivingGod.EachdayyourHeavenly
Fatherwhispersthesewordsofpeace,comfortandpromisetoyou,“Iamyourrefugeandstrength.Iamhere.
Iamwithyou,thisdayandeverydaytoguardyouandprotectyounoma\erthetroubleyouface.”

Voter Registration 2020 (for the 2020 Virtual Convention)
Voting Dates August 29-30, 2020
Voting will be done using a program entitled ELECTION BUDDY. Delegates need to provide their email address, this is how the program works. Only delegates need to register.
When the voter registers additional information will be sent to them about the actual voting
procedures. All delegates will receive information about the Virtual Convention when the plans are finalized.
