WALT DISNYwas bornin Chicago,Illinois, on December 5,1901.He receivedhis elementaryand highschool educationin the schocls of thatcityand becameacommercialartist in 1919. Between1919 and1922 hepro-ducedanumberof cartoonsand in 1928 createdMickey Mouse,his mostfamouscartoon. - -

Mr. DISNEYhas beenassociated withhis brother, ROY O.DISNEY,in themanagement andoperation ofthe WaltDisney Productionssince thei-establishment ofthe companyby the brothers in the early 1930's. Mr.'DISNEY resideswithhis wife and family in the HolmbyHills section ofLos Angeles.
