The 2011 Solheim Cup

The 2011 Solheim Cup will take place in Killeen Castle, County Meath from September 23-25. This professional ladies golf tournament, between Europe and the USA, is the most prestigious international team event in women’s golf and one of the biggest international sporting events to be staged in Ireland this year. The tournament features some of the biggest names in the women’s golf and spectators will get a chance to see high profile players such as Michelle Wie and Laura Davies. There will be a unique atmosphere at this much anticipated event and it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to see it played on home soil.The 2011 Solheim Cup really is the ‘must-see’ event of the year - a chance to see great golf and enjoy a fantastic line-up of entertainment and activities for all ages.

The Irish Open

The Irish Open , one of the most prestigious events in European golf, will once again be hosted in the beautiful location of Killarney Golf and Fishing Club from July 28-31.
