to you a broad variety of programs dealing

Adolf Eichmann – The Secret Memoirs (2 x 52’)

The secret diaries of Adolf Eichmann, the notorious persecu-

tor of the Jews in the time of the Third Reich, form the basis

of this exciting documentary, which shows how the Jews were

mercilessly hunted down while interweaving this story with

Eichmann’s own life history. This psychological study follows

the personal share of responsibility borne by a convinced

Nazi, and incorporates shots of historic events throughout

Europe from the Nazis’ seizure of power in 1933 to the pres-

ent day. The result is a comprehensive analysis of the abyss

that lurks in the human psyche — an account that terrifies and

fascinates in equal measure.

Medicine in the Third Reich (3 x 50’)

Under the pretense of scientific research, doctors in Nazi

Germany conducted gruesome experiments on human beings

with mostly fatal results. The majority of these experiments

had no scientific value whatsoever, and their only purpose

was to advance the doctors’ careers.

Nazi Expeditions (2 x 50’)

This two-part documentary describes the exploratory expedi-

tions undertaken by the Nazis at home and abroad and throws

light on the mystery of these often bizarre operations for the

first time.

Schleich’s Restaurant (1 x 47’)

The incredible story of the “Styrian Schindler” Josef Schleich

from Graz, who saved thousands of Jews from 1938-41. He

smuggled Jews from Hitler Germany. The documentary traces

the origins of Josef Schleich’s work.

The SS –Incarnation of Terror (6 x 50’)

The SS, a symbol of terror and genocide, represented more than

any other Nazi organization the wild and deadly delusions of

those who believed themselves part of the master race. It took

only a few years for Hitler’s Schutzstaffel or “protective echelon”

to be transformed from an insignificant personal bodyguard to

an all-powerful empire of evil, an unscrupulous institution that

tortured and murdered without the slightest compunction.
