Facebook Survey

I used Facebook as a platform to ask people to do my survey for my three products.

From the results, I can see that mostly females answered my survey. 6 out of 8 people were girls and the other two were boys. I can tell from here that I will now get answers from both genders which is good because even though my target audience is females, I will see if males like it too.The mode age from the results is 18-25, which is an area that is target at my audience. There was 2 people 17 or under and 5 people 18-25, with 1 person 26+ . I am happy that I have a range of ages who have taken the survey.

Overall, for this question I got positive feedback apart from one comment that seemed to think that the video was boring. The word that was repeated was ‘fun’ which made me happy as this meant that I had succeeded in my aims of making people feel happy. Also people have said that they feel like they want to dance which shows that they want to join in with what the girls in the video were doing.

For this quest I got really positive feedback on my ancillary texts. I saw that people said it looked ‘professional’ and ‘consistent’ which made me feel good about the products.

Question 5 was if there would be anything that person would change about the products. Again, overall I got good feedback with people saying they wouldn’t change anything. The feedback I got to change was to put something on the green screen which I understand because it was my initial intentions but because I went through a struggle of getting the green screen to look good (images below) when I changed the background, I decided that it looked better with the green screen.

This question, asking if my three products were effective, was important as it links to question 2. Overall I got the same answer which was yes, the three products looked effective. Although, I got a no for it not being effective. This person did not think that the ancillary texts matched the music video.

The final question was ‘did you enjoy watching the video?’ which was mainly answered yes by 7 out of 8 people. The person who said no, they didn’t enjoy it was the same person who said the video was boring and the products are not effective. This may be due to the fact that they might not like the products. This aside, the majority of people liked it and that makes me happy.
