Stitch ‘N Time Ministry News
There will be no Stitch’N Time meetings in December due to the busyness of the season. We will resume in January.
If you have an extra dollar or five, consider donating to Stitch’N Time. Just put the money in an envelope and direct it to Stitch’N Time. We operate strictly on donations.
This is a ministry that affects so many people: The VA Hospital, Hospice, Women’s Hospital, Hayes Inman School for Developmentally Challenged, Brenner’s Chil-dren’s Hospital and the Cancer Center.
Any scraps that are left go in a pillow that is then donated to the animal shelter. We touch a lot of lives. Your donations can help us continue!
Merry Christmas from Stitch ’N Time.
...To the McFillin and Hassler families on the passing of Kathy’s mother and Kimberly Hassler’s grandmother.
LOTTIE MOON INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS OFFERING
Are you wishing your money would go farther at Christmas time?
You want to give to the Lottie Moon International Missions Offering.
At the same time, you want to buy gifts for people in the church who
mean a lot to you, and you cannot do both. We have a solution!
Would you like to give a contribution to the Lottie Moon offering in honor
of those people? They will be recognized through the bulletin (without
name of donor), and you and they will be responsible for promoting mis-
sions. They will be notified individually that you have made a contribu-
tion in their honor. Write on your offering envelope that your offering is
in honor of particular persons. Ladies in the office will notify your friends
that you have done this, and the bulletin will show that they have been
honored (without name of donor).
“MAIL” YOUR CARDS TO FABC MEMBERS IN
THE LOTTIE MOON MAILBOX
The “Lottie Moon” mailbox has been set up in the
church hallway. You can “mail” your Christmas cards to other
church members by placing them in this box according to the
letter beginning the last name of the person you have ad-
dressed. The cost is 25 cents per Christmas card, and the
money goes to Lottie Moon International Missions.
Cards will be taken to Sunday School classes of addressees
or picked up by them from the mailbox.
8:30 am and 11:00 am - Christmas at Friendly A Happy Birthday, Jesus! Celebration
Please pick up your Poinsettias after today’s service.
FRIENDLY MEMBERS HONORED WITH LOTTIE MOON CONTRIBUTIONS
We are most grateful to all of you who have been giving to the Lottie Moon International Missions offering! Others at FABC have been hon-ored with contributions this week.
Colonel Ed Welch, teacher of the Jimmy Crews Sunday School Class, was recognized when a contribution to the Lottie Moon Interna-tional Missions Offering was made in his honor. Also, contributions were made in honor of Jack and Lina Mor-ris and Doug and Margie Watts. Please be in prayer for Lina and Margie, who are unable to attend church at present because of illness.
On behalf of the Music and Worship Ministry, THANK YOU to ALL those who helped with the Living Christmas Tree. Your efforts
played a part in touching many lives for Christ at the mall! Thank you!
