3.0 Clinker (0.65 MTPA) will be sourced i'rom Cemetlt plants at /-\Iathiyur, Viridhacr ,8!am,TclrLilNc:iu and AlathiYdr, Tar.:il NadLA':Jytrucks and stored in clinker silo. Fly ash (0.30 'TPA)wili be sourced from Therma: Power Plants of TNEB near Chennai and Mettur, r.N. incor,:pletely enc:;!osed b:>wser and pneumatically pumped to the fly ash silo. Gypsum (0.05MTPA) from EIO, Perry will be received in trucks and stored in closed shed. PPC produced willbe stored in cement silos and marketed to Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and r. P. by roae'Cl:nker, fly ash and cement will be stored in silos. Efficient bag filter wil! be provided to con~.JI

4.0 After considering the facts mentioned above and with due diligence, the Ministry ofEnvironment and Forests hereby categorizes the project in category B-2 requiring no EIA/EMPane' Public Hearing/Con3ultatiori and accords environmental clearance under the ')rovisions 0C:IA Notification, 200Ej subjp.ct to strict com;:;liance to the followin,] specific "nd gener'conditions :

A. Specific Conditions :

i. The stack emissions from all the sources shall not eicceed50 mg/Nm3.

ii. The fug:tive emissions during loading and unloading shall oe suitably c~ntrolled.

iii. . Ambient 3ir quali~y monitoring stations (MQM) stations shall be set up a perstatutory requirerrent in consultation with the Tamil Naau Pollution Control Board(TN PCB)

iv. Total ground wate~ requirement shall not l~xcedd 95 m3Jca.yand prior p.,:;.mission forthe drawl of ground water shall be obt~ined from the S"ate Ground Water 80are:Central Ground Water Authority. IX. 'Permissi)I1' and recommendation of the State Forest Department rega~ding impClctof the p,(,pc'5ed cement grinding unit on the surrouncing reserve fore.3ts viz.Vellalaku'1dam RF (4 km, E), Goodumalai RF (L.5 km. N'l\') and Mangalar 'am RF(6.7 km, S) shall be obtained.
