which considers the application of
principles and values
to attitude and behavior of
persons in medical practice

And taught man what he knew not

Whosoever practices medicine
without having
adequate knowledge
will be responsible
for his deeds

lost property of a muslim,
he should acquire it
wherever he finds it

If anybody is having knowledge,
and he conceals it,
he will face hellfire
on the day of judgement

• Get your knowledge from authentic sources
• Books, Journals, websites
• NLM, Cochrane review, uptodate, wikipedia

your subject.
Provide training & supervision to students
so that they are responsible and
competent.

• Do not claim to know what is not known to you
• Do not claim qualifications which are not achieved
• Do not perform the tasks unsupervised related to skills which you have not learned

competent to perform by education training

Do not permit motive of profit to influence
professional judgement.
Consult another physician whenever

• Do not avoid work or patient care in your duty time

• Do not receive or pay commission on services
• Do not receive personal benefits from Pharmacompanies

• Respect for persons - the patient have the right to be treated with dignity.
• Truthfulness and honesty
• Informed consent
• Confidentiality is commonly applied to
conversations between doctors and patients.

Provide information /Counseling as needed

• Do not put unnecessary financial burden on your patient
• Do not advise unnecessary investigations

Treat the patient, not just the disease.

Be objective & unbiased as a reviewer.
Do not use abusive verbal language,
demeaning speech, insult , or exploitation in
