Marketing is usually focused on one product or service or integrated communications-based process, and it is an activity involved with the wide range to make sure

that you would continue to meet your customers’ existing and newly-identified needs or wants and

Target Audience Target Audience is the

primary group of people for which an advertising message designed. It can be a group of certain age people or certain combination, that may be interested .

ManipulativeWe are manipulated into spending money on products. Manipulation is used to manipulate your way of thinking and test your values. It plays on your self esteem.

Planned ObsolescenceThe planned failure of a product in order to make consumers buy it again or buy a more expensive version.Manufacturing things that will only last so long, or only be so good, so that consumers will get a taste of the product and pay more than they normally would for an “update”

Tom Egelhoff says “Computers are obsolete as soon as they are loaded into the car, “Referring to the idea that since technology is constantly advancing, people are always

having to “update” and get something better.

Dehumanizing the “model” as an object of interest. Sends the message that “this product will give you outstanding

beauty or will surround you with outstanding beauty”

Seishiro Cosmetics = you will be a post-six-hour-make-up-and-airbush Angelina Jolie?

Axe + Coors Light = hot women will want you?

Crystal Light = Tiny waist and missing half your body?

Cool HuntingCool hunting refers to a group of marketing professionals called coolhunters. They are used to observe and predict the changes in our culture trends. Coolhunters are also able to control what becomes the next big thing.
