2. Explore 2. Explore For this piece, my background image is of a winding road leading into the depths of a misty landscape. The word I used was 'Explore'. Reasons for this, are that I wanted to lead the viewer into the picture as if they are following the winding road. The road bends round a corner, leaving it to the imagination of the viewer to wonder. I used the texture of an autumn leaf to add to the mood of the picture. The colour of the texture allowed the text to be seen clearly too. I found using a colour too similiar to the trees in the background meant the text was harder to read. The fact that the text is positioned diagonally on the road was also a factor in making sure the text was readable as the grey road contrasts the dark green font. I also used an Omni light for shadows and lighting.
