Confined Space Access & EgressDuration:2Days(16hours)

Overview:Whiletheprimaryfocusofthiscoursewillbetherescueandretrievalofworkersfromwithinconfinedspaces,safeaccessandentrywillalsobediscussed.Thiscourseisfocusedontheutilizationofpre-engineeredrescuesystemsandtechniquesthatareeasilyadaptabletobothteamandpeerrescue.Itshouldbenotedthatthisisnotatechnicalroperescuecourse.Theorypresentedisimmediatelyreinforcedthroughrescueexercisesandscenarios.

Thiscoursewillinvolveahighdegreeofhandsonscenariosandwillrequireworkerstoactivelyparticipateinrescueoperations.Note,thiscourseassumesthattheworkershavealreadybeeninstructedinsafeuseofSCBA’sifrequired,testingofthespace,blanking,purgingetc.Uponsuccessfulcompletionofthiscourse,thestudentwillreceiveacertificateacknowledgingtheyhavemetorexceededOSHA,ANSIandCSArequirements.
