2. INTRODUCTION

2.1. TESTING PLAN

2.1.1. TESTING NETWORKS

Operators to be tested: CMPAK2.1.2. TESTING TIME

Drive test time: 11:00 to 16:302.1.3. CITY and ROUTE

Approved routes to be attached and tested covering all cells and cell boundaries within cluster. All first tier neighbors must well test as per planned route.

2.1.4. TESTING PERSONALS

LCC team:Aasim Shahzad2.1.5. TESTING EQUIPMENT

Drive test was performed with two mobiles.One mobile was on call mode.One mobile was on idle mode.2.2. TESTING METHOD

2.2.1 TEST MODECall Duration: longCall Interval: 5sec

Retry in case of call failure or congestion will be 20s

Note: Calls were made from MS to MS and to the same operator calling and called numbers.2.3. KPI TO BE MONITIRED

2.3.1. CSSR

Definition: CSSR=Call successful times/Call attempt times*100%

Note:

Call attempt times: Only if message channel request and CM service request appeared simultaneously, then can be judge as a call attempt.Call successful times: After call attempt start, either message connect or message connect acknowledge appeared, then can be judged as a call successful.CSSR must calculated by calling MS.

2.3.2. CDR

Definition:CDR=Call drop times/Call successful times*100%

Note:

1)Call drop times: During a call, if message Disconnect or Channel Release appeared, then can be considered as a normal call; otherwise, neither of them appeared, and the state of MS also change from dedicate to idle, then can be judged as a drop.2) CDR must calculate by calling MS and called MS.

3) CDR= (calling drop+called drop)/ (calling successful +called successful)*100%2.3.3 Coverage rate

Definition:

Coverage Rate = >=-90dBm Sample numbers/Total Sample numbers100

Note:

1) Coverage Rate must calculate by calling MS and called MS.

2) Sample number=100s dedicate mode + 20s idle mode2.3.4 RXQUAL

Definition:

RXQUAL= [RxQual0 LevelRxQual1 LevelRxQual2 LevelRxQual3 Level]1[RxQual4 LevelRxQual5 Level+RxQual6 Level]0.7

Note:

1) Sample number=calling MS + called MS2.3.5 HOSR

Definition: HOSR=Ho successful times/Ho attempt times*100%2.3.6 Mean Delay time of Call establishment

Definition:

The time difference between the latest channel request message and alerting message. (Calculate it by frame number)Note:

1) Calculate by calling MS.2) The value is the average value of all calls.
