Justin Vickrey, Jess Stuart, and James Duke, accepted a check for $2,000 from Exchange Club of Sugar Land President Amy Mitchell for the T.W. Davis YMCA summer program.

Exchange member, Jim Shaw, told stories of his days as a TOP GUN at NAS Miramar during the Vietnam War.

Jeanine Sullins spoke of the epidemic of Human Trafficking and how Houston is a “Hot Spot.” They are building a facility in Spring to house and help the victims of this terrible crime.

Karen Daly and her Child Abuse Prevention team have planned many events for our Child Abuse Prevention Month in April. As you know, this is our main service project that includes our Blue Ribbon Campaign. Blue ribbons tied around trees in the community has be-come a trademark of the Exchange Club of Sugar Land. Schools compete in a Blue Ribbon Child Abuse Awareness contest. The Child Advocates of Fort Bend “Light of Hope” program supported by our Exchange Club will kick off Child Abuse Prevention Month in Sugar Land Town Square on March 25, 2011 at 5:30pm.
