Sugar Tree Club features 19 family cottages with a central dining lodge. We are focused on a family-friendly environment with multiple choices of activities for both, adults and children.

Located 100 miles southwest of St. Louis, MO on 1,700 acres on the Gasconade River in the foothills of the Ozarks, Sugar Tree Club was founded in 1916 and is an exclusive private club owned by 19 members.

A full time caretaker resides on the property and is responsible for management of the club. Staff is responsible for opening cottages for members prior to arrival, cleaning cottages after departure, linen service for each cottage, restocking firewood and building fires, maintaining fa-cilities, grounds, and areas around the cottages. We also provide meals for members and guests in the central dining lodge, at additional cost (Tuesday through Sunday lunch).

AND FOR EVERYONE...

Established boat docks on the Gasconade River, shooting sports (Sporting Clays, Skeet and Trap Houses), fishing, floating, hunting, hiking and ATV trails on 1,700 acres.

Sugar Tree also hosts club parties on holiday weekends for its members.

MEMBERSHIP AT SUGAR TREE CLUB

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

• Acceptance of the candidate by the existing members; • One time initiation fee of $25,000;• Successfully negotiating the purchase of an existing cottage and entering into a lease of that cot-

tage with the Club within one year of joining; • Three memberships currently available, with cottage prices ranging from $75,000 to $130,000;• Paying quarterly dues of $3,000.

Sugar Tree Club is a not-for-profit land company. When you become a Member, you have a partial ownership in the Club. Therefore, when a person joins the Club, they have the right to negotiate the purchase of an existing cottage. They then enter into a lease with the Club for the cottage. Since Sugar Tree Club is a not-for-profit land company, the Member is not allowed to place a lien on the cottage, which may be required by a financial institution if the new member is considering financing the cottage.
