Dry Land & Vegetation contd…

• The waters below still constituted a shoreless ocean.

• The surface of the earth was most likely smooth with a relatively uniform covering of water.

• This is also the time that God set the foundations of the earth. Job 38:4, Psalm

102:25, Isaiah 48:13, Zechariah 12:1 • Remember that since the waters above

the expanse, or atmosphere, were still there, the effect of God's creation was a giant greenhouse.

• The dry land named as the Earth

Dry Land & Vegetation Contd…

• God moves the water below the firmament, so that the dry land under it becomes visible.

• As soon as the earth is exposed, he fills it with vegetation.

• it is possible to see the process of creation as one ignited by the entrance of light.

• Probably had to be the creation of fertile soil at this time, or nothing could grow.

• God simply created fertile soil. He didn't have to wait for it to become fertile.

• This would not be soil from dead and decaying life forms.

Dry Land & Vegetation Contd…

• Then God said, .Let the earth sprout vegetation: plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in them; and it was so..

• It was not the result of a long evolutionary process, it was immediate.

• Vegetation of every KIND appeared instantly.

• Notice that when God created trees, they already had seed and fruit on them.

DNA – Seed – Kind

• This indicates reproduction and the requirement of the genetic-blueprint model, DNA.

• DNA- De ox ribonucleic acid (DNA) is a nucleic acid that contains the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms and some viruses.

• Additionally, with the word "kind", we see that God intended a limitation on variation.
