Welcome to this exhibition which shows emerging proposals for Evesham Country Park.Eagle One, owners and operators of Evesham Country Park, is proposing a range of improvements to the Park themed around ‘The Great Outdoors’ which will create a truly sustainable country park open to all with enhanced links to Evesham town centre and the wider area.
Evesham Country Park is an established visitor and tourist attraction with a successful garden centre, retail stores and leisure facilities. The park already attracts a significant number of visitors but has yet to realise its full potential. These proposals aim to achieve this and to bring benefits to the wider area in a sustainable and complementary manner.
New facilities and amenities across the 125 acre site will be provided in a series of themed zones based around Nature, Fun & Learning, Angling, Lifestyle and Leisure. Throughout the park there will also be an emphasis on supporting Landscape & Ecology, Food and Learning.
Amenities will range from a new wetland nature reserve, nature trails and cycle paths, enhanced angling facilities on both lake and river and timber holiday lodges through to education and exhibition centres, an enhanced showground linking to craft shops and ‘try before you buy’ outdoor pursuits retail stores.

SummaryEagle One believes that these proposals will create an attractive leisure and tourist attraction appealing to all ages in a holistic manner.
The scheme will also bring forward improved links to Evesham town centre through the promotion of footpaths, cycle ways, bus, coaches and taxi links together with the construction of a landing station on the River Avon, designed to encourage river transport. These improvements will help to ensure that the wider area benefits from the additional tourists and visitors.
The Great Outdoors will provide additional floor areas as follows:-
Craft, Play Barn, Farmstead, Education Centre and Exhibition & Gallery Centre – 1,575m²Restaurants – 780m²Retail – 5,170m²Timber Holiday Lodges – 60Additional Car and Coach Parking
We hope that you find our proposals to be of interest and would welcome your opinion.
What happens next: Eagle One and it’s project team will carefully consider feedback from this exhibition and from other groups or organisations being consulted. Once the scheme has been finalised they intend to submit an outline planning application to Wychavon District Council.
If you leave contact details at the exhibition we will make sure you are kept informed about the progress of the planning application.
