Our Solutions

- AcousticsOne of the surprises of metal system is their excellent acoustic performance when correctly supplied. Eurobond cladding panels offer typically 34dB and Euroclad built up roofs 45dB sound reduction, as well as giving excellent performance viz rain noise.It has to be said that not all metal roof systems perform in this manner. For example - A foam composite roof sheet has the same sound reduction performance as a single skin metal sheet. So care is needed.Particularly relevant on retail and offices - Probably the next focus of Building Regulations. We have spent some 8 months in the last 2 years physically testing systems.

- AestheticsIn the eye of the beholder or more importantly the prospective tenant. Obviously totally subjective but we believe that anything that an architect can draw, we can produce. The breadth of the product range and competencies ensures the best solution is available.New and innovative products can help solve planning issues whilst maintaining all the benefits of modern building methods, for example the Rainspan system from Eurobond.

Our Solutions

- Air TightnessAgain metal systems have a known track record for delivering projects with an air permeability of less than 5 which is where Building Regulations are moving this year. With our systems, the levels required are achieved in a cost effective way.

- Thermal All Euroclad & Eurobond systems are thermally modelled in house using the BRE approved “Trisco” system. Mineral Fibre cored systems have a U Value which is consistent throughout the life of the building, and does not rely on containment of gasses.

- LongevityEuroclad & Eurobond rely on Corus for over 90% of coated steel requirements with Alcoa & Mitsubishi for Aluminium supplies. All powder coating is completed at our own facility - which gives Interpon D Guaranteed coating. Coatings are guaranteed for between 25 & 40 years without maintenance, contributing significantly to low life cycle costs.

Our Solutions

- Non CombustilbityAll Euroclad and Eurobond wall and roof cladding systems consist of a proven non-combustible structural Rockwool core. Systems are available offering up to 4 hours fire resistance, which is the optimal fire performance required.

- Low Smoke RiskApproximately half of all fire related fatalities and a third of all fire related injuries can be attributed to toxic smoke from burning organic matter such as plastic foams. Both Euroclad and Eurobond's Rockwool cored systems are non-combustible and therefore generate little or no smoke. Currently in the UK the amount of smoke and toxic gases are not controlled, this contrary to the rest of Europe and current moves are in place to develop standards to control this.

Our Solutions

- Recyclability - Low Environmental ImpactEuroclad and Eurobond Rockwool cores are non-hazardous, have zero Ozone Depleting Potential and free of HCFC, CFC, VOCs and greenhouse gases. At the end of its useful life the insulation can be reprocessed into further energy saving insulation. Euroclad and Eurobond offer excellent environmental credentials, with meaningful policies, adopting a cradle to cradle approach which meets & exceeds all the BREEAM requirements.

- Zero Carbon Roofing and CladdingCorus Confidex Sustain offers a Carbon Neutral building envelope

- Reduction of WasteEuroclad and Eurobond investment is driving down scrap within the manufacturing process and reducing the amount of packaging waste on site. Both companies offer a collection service which is driving down site waste and increasing the re-use of materials.
