ABOUT theparent company

Looking for new business opportunities in the early 90’s, Pioneer Podium company founder, Khor Kim Teik, and his group of friends ventured to China to research the market.

Attracted by the competitive prices in China, Pioneer Podium tried importing China-made products and while doing so, they Podium encountered many problems including:

• Unscrupulous manufacturers and suppliers who disappear after receiving payment

• Goods not manufactured according to given specifications or materials

• Unable to get refunds for disputed orders

• Difficulties in finding suitable factories (ex. Right scale, size, location, pricing, speed of delivery, quality, honesty)

• Limited warehousing facilities and logistics for Malaysians

Through years of working with local Chinese agents and gathering data on factories, pricing and deliveries, Pioneer Podium decided to capitalize on their learning to focus on providing trade services and aim to help those who want to import.

Pioneer Podium provides Supply Chain Management Services. The services include finding factories that matches the criteria (cost, quality, capacity) of the customers, maintaining close quality control, warehousing, payment mediation, and air/sea freight among others.

Working between Malaysian clients and Chinese partners, Pioneer Podium helps Malaysian clients minimize risk and reduce the chance of incurring loss while helping Chinese partners grow their business by introducing the right clientele.

Pioneer Podium provides Supply Chain Management services.

Sourcing > Factory > Agreement > Quality Control > Warehousing > Payment > Air/Sea Freight > Customer

Sourcing – Pioneer Podium assists clients in sourcing suitable manufacturing factories based on three criteria: Cost, Quality, Capacity.

Factory – The client then visits the shortlisted factories before making their decision.

Agreement – When a decision is made, Pioneer Podium will draw up the agreement between the client and the factory.

Quality Control – Pioneer Podium provides 3 levels of quality control:

•Level1includesthecorrectuseofmaterialstoaccuratedimensionstofinishingqualityandproduct testing.

•Level2includesinspectionatvariousstagesofproductiontoensurethatallisaccordingtothe client’s specifications.

•Level3includespackagingofthefinalproduct.

Warehousing – Pioneer Podium will transfer the final product to their warehouse for safekeeping. Products are once again randomly checked to ensure that they are according to specifications.

Payment – Pioneer Podium acts as a payment gateway between the client and the factory:

•Thisisbasedontheinitialagreementwiththeclientandthefactory.

•PaymentsaremadethroughouttheproductionstagesandPioneerPodiumassiststheclientby receiving in Ringgit Malaysia and paying the factory in Renminbi.

•PioneerPodiumearns3%ontotalcostofgoodsandispaidthroughouttheproductionstages as and when the client makes payment to the factory.

Air/Sea Freight – Due to economies of scale, Pioneer Podium is able to provide container space at a more competitive price as opposed to individual arrangement, making it more cost effective for the client.

Customer – The final stage where Pioneer Podium will arrange all the necessary port clearance documents and provide the client with the shipment tracking number.

BIRTH OFERANZIMalaysia’s fashion retail industry is growing and Pioneer Podium sees this as an opportunity to expand their business in this industry. As globalization becomes more and more prevalent, Malaysia is slowing influenced by the fashion trends of our neighboring countries like Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan; and lately, Malaysian customers are willing to pay more for quality products and pamper themselves with luxury goods.

With this trend, Pioneer Podium created Eranzi Co., an online fashion/luxury store that will satisfy not only the customers in Malaysia, but provide convenient, reasonable and pleasing shopping experience to customers all over the world.

HISTORY & The futureof eranziSince the launching of Eranzi.com in year 2011, we have successfully established the company as a premier brand. Our website currently operates in both English and Korean, and Chinese Website is planned to open in coming August.

Our offices are strategically located in Seoul, Korea and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with an offline concept store located inside “Sunway Carnival” mall in Penang, Malaysia.

To make our products more accessible to you, we plan to continue expanding and open stores in Hangzhou, China and Taipei, Taiwan this year. Eranzi has been supplying luxury goods to customers all over the world through parallel importation, but in the coming months we plan to become a licensed distributor.

Your items will be nicely packed into our Eranzi signature box. All items come with their original tags or certificates of authentication along with a dust bag (if any) and/or a box. We will then place your items into our Eranzi signature box, fill in with inflated air pillows to protect your items, tie the whole package up, finish it with a bow, include a namecard and then place into a brown box to be couriered out to you. Split shipments for gift-boxed orders to the same address will not increase shipping charges.

Your order is shipped via one of three couriers: EMS, UPS, or GDEX.

Worry about theft and accidental damage? Not to worry, Eranzi have it all covered. We engaged a trusted carrier company to deliver your goods and we take pride in our packaging to ensure you that your goods are well packaged upon delivery.

Tremendous response and support from our customers inspired us to expand our services to offline for a more enhanced shopping experience, and our very first concept store, located in Penang, Malaysia opened on November 1st, 2012. On our opening event, Malaysia’s No.1 top model Amber Chia, Jeffery Chong, Taiwan Men’s Uno male models and Korean models from Eranzi Korea joined us in celebrating our new milestone.

Japanese interior designer Fujii Yoshinori was invited to design Eranzi’s first store. The concept of our offline store is “simple” and “modern”, and the store is neatly designed in elegant black and white. Exuding elegant and sophisticated allure, our store is equipped with an exclusive collection of luxury designer bags, trendy apparel and accessories. The store features a private shopping area for VVIP guests, and experienced fashion advisors are waiting to assist you in any way they can.

We are excited to introduce a new baby line exclusively available in our concept store. It offers adorable matching clothes for mothers and daughters. We plan to continue growing and offer our customers with the latest and most wanted fashion products.

We have a current database of more than 10,000 customers and over 33,000 fans (international and Korean combined) on the Eranzi Facebook Fan Page, our main site for online communication. Eranzi’s other advertising platforms include Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Bing, Pinterest and YouTube.

Our PR agency, VLT Kuala Lumpur, is an experienced marketing communications agency and has been invaluable in increasing our media exposure since the incorporation of our principal brand, Eranzi.
