TECHNICAL TREND ( NIFTY - BANK NIFTY FUTURES )

Nifty futures/Bank Nifty futures market closed on 8014/17249 . According to technical analysis if Nifty futuresand Bank Nifty future moves down-word in tomorrow treading session then 7927 will be small support for Niftyfutures and 16946 will be small support for Bank Nifty futures. If it break this level then then Nifty futures can godown to 7685 level and Bank Nifty futures can touch 16083 level in next few days. It will be hard support forNifty futures and Bank Nifty futures. Meanwhile in up trend there is small resistance on 8140 for Nifty futures and17708 is for Bank Nifty futures after breaking this level with volume there is big resistance for Nifty futures on8359 and 18623 for Bank Nifty futures.

✍ RBI can use Forex reserves to reduce volatility: Raghuram Rajan - The Reserve Bankof India will not have any "hesitation" in using foreign exchange reserves to reduce currencyvolatility, governor Raghuram Rajan reportedly said.Rajan added that India's macro-economicproblems were "under control" although the country would need to focus on increasingdomestic production as an effective way.The central bank's priority remained to help economicgrowth by bringing down inflation along a "glide path", says Rajan.

✍ Oil exploration stocks sink to record lows - Oil exploration stocks continue to sink deeperto lower levels on the back of relentless selling pressure in the market as Crude Oil pricesextend its record breaking losing streak as world economic slowdown looms.The NYMEXCrude Oil futures for October expiry are quoted at $ 39.47 per barrel, down as much as 2.5percent in Asian trades. The contract touched a low at $ 39.01 so far. The Brent October futurestoo are down 1.5 percent at $ 44.25 per barrel.Just a year ago, the Crude Oil futures weretrading above $ 100 per barrel.The major oil exploration stocks are currently trading atmulti-year lows. ONGC, Aban Offshore and Cairn India have tumbled over 5 percent each toRs. 243, Rs. 262 and Rs. 135, respectively.Hindustan Oil Exploration has plunged over 4percent to Rs. 36.50, and Oil India has dropped over 3 percent to Rs. 442.

✍ Alembic Pharma gains 1% after getting approval from USFDA - Shares of AlembicPharmaceuticals Ltd were trading higher 1% at Rs. 671.50 on BSE today. The pharma companygets approval for anti-inflammatory drug Celecoxib, as per media reports.The stock opened atRs. 676 as against the previous close of Rs. 667.95 on BSE. It has hit a high of Rs. 723 and alow of Rs. 671 on BSE today.Total traded quantity on the counter stood at over 8637odd-shares on BSE.

✍ SEBI Board approves new norms for commodity derivatives - Market regulator SEBI onMonday announced new norms for commodities derivatives market under which exchangesand brokers will need to comply with rules applicable to stock brokers.The new regulations willbe effective September 28, the date from which SEBI would begin regulating the commodityderivatives market.The new norms, approved by SEBI's Board on Monday, will enableintegration of commodities derivatives and securities trading in an orderly manner.SEBI saidthat the new regulations provide for compliance of the Securities Contracts RegulationRegulations, 2012, which are currently required to be complied with by stock exchanges.Themajor compliances include norms related to net worth, shareholding norms, composition ofboard, corporatization and demutualization and setting up of various committees, turnover,infrastructure, etc.To ensure a smooth transition, SEBI has prescribed specific timelines forcomplying with the different provisions of the regulations.

✍ DLF raises Rs. 375 cr from NCD - DLF on Monday raised INR 375 crore throughnon-convertible debentures as the realty major tries to boost internal cash flows amid a sluggishproperty market.Earlier this month, DLF had raised INR 1,000 crore through NCDs, thecompany's first capital market issuance since getting a relief from the Securities AppellateTribunal. DLF said that it has allotted 12.25% privately placed fully-paid non-convertible

debentures of a principal amount of INR 375 crores...redeemable for cash at par in separateseries within a period of 4 years 11 months and 18 days from the date of allotment.Thesedebentures would be secured by certain immovable assets of DLF's wholly-owned subsidiaryand will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Over the last few years, DLF has raised INR100bn through the sale of non-core businesses and land parcels to cut debt and boost cashflows.The company has already exited from the hospitality, cinema and insurance businesses. Ithas also sold a large land parcel in Mumbai.

✍ ONGC up on submitting revised development rights for Iran field - ONGC has spurtednearly 2 percent to a high of Rs. 231 on the back of positive news flow.According to mediareports, the company's overseas investment arm, ONGC Videsh, had submitted a revisedproposal seeking the development rights of Iran's giant gas field Farzad B.The stock, however,has pared gains and is now up a percent at Rs. 229. Around 146,000 shares have changed handsat the counter so far on the BSE.

✍ Vedanta raises Rs. 2,000 crore from SBI through NCDs - Vedanta Ltd has announced thatthe company are proposing to issue Secured, Rated, Non-Cumulative, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures worth Rs. 2000 Crores, the details are follows:The Company haveallotted 20,000, 9.45% Secured, Rated, Non-Cumulative, Redeemable, Non-ConvertibleDebentures of Rs. 10,00,000 each aggregating to Rs. 20,00,00,00,000/- to State Bank of Indiaon August 17, 2015.The NCDs are long term funds and this issuance will reduce our cost offunds.

✍ JSW Energy to receive a loan of Rs. 7,550 crore - JSW Energy will get a loan of Rs. 7,550crore from the commercial banks led by State Bank of India, according to reports. According toreports, banks have agreed to provide loan at 10.70% -100 basis points above SBI's base rate,which is at 9.70%. This is substantially lower than 12% at which banks had lent to JaiprakashPower for financing both the projects. Jaiprakash Power had taken loan of Rs. 6,000 crore forfinancing the two projects.The company acquired 300 MW Baspa II hydroelectric plant and1,091 MW Karcham Wangtoo plant for Rs 9,700 crore. Both plants are operational and wererecently transferred to a special purpose vehicle called Himachal Baspa Power Company. Thecompany is seeking shareholders' approval to raise Rs 12,500 crore this year, of which Rs 5,000crore is for ongoing capital expenditure and another Rs 7,500 crore for organic and inorganicgrowth, says report.

✍ Corporation Bank board approves capital infusion of Rs. 857 crore - Corporation Bankhas announced that Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, Government ofIndia, vide their letter dated August 19, 2015, has communicated its decision to infuse capitalfunds to the tune of Rs. 857 crore in the Bank by way of preferential issue of equity in favourof Government of India. The Board of the Bank on August 24, 2015, has accorded its approvalfor-The said infusion of capital of Rs. 857 crore by Government of India and For convening anExtraordinary General Meeting of the shareholders of the Bank on September 22, 2015, forseeking its approval for the said infusion of capital.The Bank is in the process of takingnecessary steps/approvals for raising the said amount.

Sebi will help streamline regulations and curb wild speculations in commodities market, whilefacilitating growth of the market, as per media reports.Earlier, Chairman of the Securities andExchange Board of India U K Sinha met officials of commodity exchanges to iron out issuesover merger with the Forward Markets Commission .The meeting was attended by Sinha alongwith Sebi panel for monitoring the merger and officials of commodity exchanges, says report.

✍ Govt stake sale in IOC subscribed 57% - Around 57.50 per cent of the Rs 9,302-croregovernment share sale in Indian Oil Corp (IOC) was subscribed by 1 pm.A total of 13.95 croreshares were bid for out of 24.28 crore share on offer at a minimum price of Rs 387, as per thedata from stock exchanges.The IOC share sale is the fourth disinvestment this fiscal.The salereceived some demand from the retail investors.

✍ DLF rallies 17% after raising funds via NCDs - DLF zoomed over 17 percent to Rs. 113after the company informed BSE that it has raised Rs. 375 crore by way of allotment of 12.25percent privately placed fully-paid non-convertible debentures.The stock hit a high of Rs.114.40 and low of Rs. 97.40 on BSE today. The total traded quantity was 60.26 lakh shares andtwo-week average quantity is 19.92 lakh.

✍ IOB plans to issue shares to GoI on preferential basis - Indian Overseas Bank hasannounced that a meeting of Committee of Directors was held on August 25, 2015 for fixationof the issue price. The Committee of Directors approved that the issue price for allotment ofequity shares under preferential issue to Government of Indio is fixed at Rs.41.37 per equityShares in compliance of Regulation 76(1) of SEBI Regulations and number of shares to beallotted to Government of India is 48,56,17,597 only aggregating to Rs. 2008,99,99,987.89including share premium.

✍ Lupin gains on USFDA nod - Lupin is currently trading with a gain of almost a percent atRs. 1,845 on the BSE, after media reported that the firm has received USFDA nod foranti-inflammatory drug Diclofenac Sodium.So far, the stock has jumped more than 2.5 percentfrom its early low of Rs. 1,818 to hit a high at Rs. 1,865.The counter has witnessed trades ofaround 22,000 shares as against the two-week daily average volume of 99,000 shares.

✍ Cairn India to invest Rs. 1,400 crore for new gas pipeline - Cairn India is planning to laya new gas pipeline from its Barmer (Rajasthan) field.The company is planning to invest Rs.1,400 crore to expand crude oil and natural gas carrying capacity.Crude oil output would beexpanded from 200,000 bopd to 300,000 bopd while natural gas carrying capacity from 6.3mmscfdto 40 mmscfd, says report. According to reports, the capital cost of the project isapproximately Rs 1,400 crore. The company reported that the oil block in Rajasthan operatedby Cairn-ONGC JV has crossed a milestone of 300 million barrels crude production. Shares ofCairn India Ltd were trading higher 2.77% at Rs. 129.75 on BSE today.The stock opened at Rs.126 as against the previous close of Rs. 126.25 on BSE. Indian companies have raised over Rs8bn through retail issuance of non-convertible debenturesso far in the current fiscal, down 80 per cent from a year ago. In comparison, Rs.40bn wasmobilized through 11 such issuance in the year-ago period, latest data from SEBI showed.

China will restrict trading in stock index futures in a bid to curb speculation, according to anexchange statement, after the futures contracts slumped by their 10 per cent daily limit for twoconsecutive days.

In its fight against black money, India signed an information exchange agreement withSeychelles on tax matters, along with pacts to deepen ties in security and defense among otherareas. While the foreign direct investments from Seychelles have been small at just aboutRs11bn over the last 15 years, the Indian Ocean island nation has long been perceived as one ofthe preferred offshore havens for routing of funds.

The government allowed developers to divest 100 per cent equity in projects two years after thecompletion of such schemes, a move that can unlock investments worth about Rs45bn in thesector. The decision is aimed at fast-tracking contracts and implementation of highway projectsin the country by making additional funds available for investment in projects.

Reserve Bank Deputy Governor R Gandhi said that four foreign lenders have applied to operateas wholly-owned subsidiaries in the country, and many others are in touch with the central bankfor a possible shift in the nature of operations here. The Deputy Governor, however, refused toshare the names.

Benchmark share indices reversed intra-day losses to end higher amid a volatile trading sessionon Tuesday, helped by a rebound in global stocks. The 30-share Sensex ended up 291 points at26,032 after hitting a high/low of 26,125/25,298 and the 50-share Nifty ended up 72 points at7,881 after hitting a high/low of 7,925/7,667 in intra-day trades today.

The rupee appreciated 0.8% to 66.1 compared to previous close of 66.65 versus the USD.

World steel production dipped 3.8% in July 2015 over the year-ago period, with China, whichaccounts for half the global output, registering an even sharper 4.6% fall.

Imports of thermal coal jumped 24% at the country's top 12 major ports to 32.54 million tonnesduring the April-July period this year even as the government continues to announce itscommitment to boost domestic output, mainly by monolith Coal India.

India today signed an initial agreement with its neighbor Nepal to construct South Asia's firsttrans-national petroleum pipeline. The 41-Kilometer long pipeline, including a 2-Kilometerstretch in India, will be constructed by India's largest fuel retailer and marketer Indian OilCorporation at a cost of Rs2bn.

The Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said 25 crore families could be brought underfinancial inclusion by the Jan Dhan Yojana alone. Inaugurating the Bandhan Bank, the firstcommercial bank from Eastern India to get RBI clearance since independence, Jaitley said 17.5crore bank accounts have been opened in Jan Dhan Yojana scheme so far. Appreciating theperformance of Bandhan, as a NBFC since 2001 he said the NPA of Bandhan is very small andas it commits, Bandhan will concentrate on financing the small and medium enterprises.

The Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said politics of growth obstructionism is notpermissible. Addressing an interactive session on Vision 2020, organized by the IndianChamber of Commerce, in Kolkata today, he said the last session of the Parliament wasdisappointing as the maturity of political wisdom was put to test during the period.

The government raised the minimum export price for onions from $425 a tonne to $700 in yetanother move to tame prices that shot up to around $864 at Lasalgaon in Maharashtra. Localprices do not make exports attractive, but the move is designed to prevent outbound shipmentsfrom becoming lucrative if domestic prices fall below $700 a tonne.

The country's top gold refiner, which has three gold purity verificationcentres, plans to add 12 such centres every year. The Agriculture Ministry has proposed an increase in importduty on crude and refined edibleoils. At present, the import duty on crude edible oil is 7.5 per cent, and for refined oil, it is 15per cent.

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has approved a proposed master plan to develop50 solar cities, includingthree in the national capital region. Of these 50 cities, master planshave been prepared for 46 cities, including Agra, Gandhinagar, Rajkot, Surat, Thane, Shirdi,Nagpur and Aurangabad as per information on the ministry’s website.

The venture will commence with anexpected investment of $20 million in the first two years.

Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors announced its entry into theIndonesian market, with plans to commence retail operations in the Southeast Asian country inthe coming months.

Despite the market rout on Monday, the Indian Oil Corp offer-for-sale sailed through. TheOFS was subscribed 1.18 times by close of normal trading hours.

The Adani Group signed an MoU with the Chhattisgarh Government to develop two majorprojects there with an estimated investment of nearly Rs252bn. The two projects a coal-to-polygeneration facility and a rice bran solvent extraction plant and refinery are expected to provideemployment to more than 5,500 people in the State.

The BWA technology helps in 4Gconnectivity. The company, however, declined to divulge the amount spent on acquisition.

Apollo Tyres said it has closed a 300 million euro financing for its upcoming manufacturingplant in Hungary. An international consortium of banks comprising ABN AMRO Bank NV,Magyar Export-Import Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UniCredit BankHungary, supported the company and provided the debt financing.

Cairn India is set to expand its crude oil and natural gas carrying capacity by laying a new gaspipeline from its Barmer field with an investment outlay of Rs14bn. Moreover, crude oil outputwould be expanded from 200,000 bopd to 300,000 bopd and natural gas carrying capacity from6.3 mmscfd to 40 mmscfd. Chennai Petroleum Corporation   will augment its Rs. 10bn infusion from its parent IOCL.

State-owned Indian Oil Corp said it has signed an agreement with Nepal Oil Corp to lay aRs2.75bn oil pipeline from Raxaul in Bihar to Amlekhgunj in Nepal. The completion period isexpected to be 30 months after receipt of statutory clearances.

Welspun Corp entered into an agreement with Malaysia's Wasco Energy for setting up a Rs1bngreenfield concrete weight coating plant at Anjar in Gujarat. The joint venture will augmentWelspun Corp's, which is one of world's largest large diameter steel pipes makers, offering tothe market duly supported by Wasco's strong credentials in concrete weight coating businessglobally.

Edelweiss Tokio Life has received approval from Foreign Investment Promotion Board forincreasing its foreign joint venture partner Tokio Marine's stake to 49% in the company from26%. As per the FIPB release, the additional foreign direct investment through this would beRs5.4bn.
