DETAILED ANALYSIS
Swan Hunter utilised several project specific solutions to
enable an efficient equipment mobilisation period, and
increased operability infield including:
Preinstalled (pre-mob) carousel interface grillage beams
between vessel deck and rigid reel skid rails
Dual position loading tower interface grillages installed
during mobilisation. Bolted connections allow for swift
tower repositioning operations between the multiple
spooling and laying campaigns
Product specific underbender chute utilised to provide
lay interface between Swan Hunter Loading Tower and
the Lewek Constellation MLS (Multi Lay System)
top aligner wheel
Engineering design verification for carousel basket volume
increase due to large product OD’s of up to 500mm
