Wireless�Controller�Does�Not�WorkTurnonthewirelesscontrollerbypressingtheXboxGuideButtonandconnectthewirelesscontrollertoyourconsole(see“AddWirelessControllers”).

Iflightsspinlongerthan15secondswhenconnecting:

• Movethecontrollerclosertotheconsole.

• Makesurethebatteriesarefresh.

• Keeptheconsoleandcontrolleratleastthreefeetawayfromlargemetalobjects,such as file cabinets and refrigerators.

• Metallicdecorationsorstickersontheconsoleorcontrollercaninterferewithwirelesscontrollerperformance.Removedecorationsandtryconnectingagain.

• Makesurethefrontoftheconsoleispositionedinthedirectionofthecontrollerandawayfromnearbywalls.

• Cordlessphones(2.4GHz),wirelessLANs,wirelessvideotransmitters,microwaveovens,somemobile/cellphones,andBluetoothheadsetscaninterferewiththeoperationofthecontroller.Turntheseofforunplugthemandretryconnecting.

• Ifnothingelseworks,turnoffyourconsole,removeandreinserttheAAbatteriesorXbox360RechargeableBatteryPackintothecontroller,andthenrepeatthestepsgivenin“AddWirelessControllers.”

Headset�Does�Not�WorkIftheheadsetisn’temittinganysoundoryouareunabletotransmityourvoice:

• Makesuretheheadsetconnectorispluggedinsecurely.

• Tryadjustingthevolumeusingthevolumecontrolontheheadsetconnector.

• Makesurethemutebuttonisn’ton.

• Makesurethatvoiceisn’tturnedoffintheXboxGuide.

• Checkyourgamemanualtodeterminewhetheryouneedtopushabuttonwhilespeaking.

Accessory�Does�Not�WorkUseXbox360-compatiblegameplayaccessoriesthathavethislogo:

If an accessory is not supported by a specific game,thegamemaynotplay.

Cannot�Save�GameTheXbox360HardDriveorMemoryUnitmusthaveenoughfreespacetosavethegame.Deleteunwanteditemsfromstorageorattachanadditionalmemoryunit(soldseparately)formorespace.

2 Turntheconsoleoffandremovetheharddrive.Turntheconsoleonandthenoffagain.Reattachtheharddrive.

3 Ifavailable,trytheharddriveonanotherconsole,ortryanotherharddriveonyourconsoletopinpointtheproblem.
