Hello everyone, I must say, I am excited for classes to end but not as much as I’m dreading the
start of finals. With finals & Christmas on the way we do have one exciting
event planned; Winter Formal!
Winter Formal
Winter Formal will be happening on Friday December 7th at Louis’ Loft!
Cocktails will begin at 5:30 pm, with supper following at 6:30 pm and a dance
to follow. Winter Formal is an awesome way to start off the Holiday season if
you haven’t already. Supper will be a steak dinner with vegan and vegetarian
options available. Tickets are $25 and will be sold in the SESS office this
week. I hope to see you all there!
That’s all from me folks! I hope your studying has started off well and you all
have an incredible Holiday Season surrounded by the people you love and far
far away from this building. I’ll see you all in term 2!
Q: Did you hear about the semi-colon that broke the law? A: He got 2 consecutive sentences. Kind Regards; Shanleigh McKeown SESS President

Heather’s Corner
Dear Heather, I have a problem and I would like your advice on how to solve it. In the past week, I have discovered that someone has stolen my apple earphones. I have seen numerous people (both friends and enemies) using these same headphones, and I want your advice to help determine which one of them has taken my headphones. I have ruled out the possibility that I have lost them be-cause I used science to find out that I am a responsible engineering student who would not lose anything. Please help me find out who I need to steal my earphones back from. Sincerely, Hopelessly Earphoneless. Dear Hopelessly, I’m sorry that you lost your headphones. The best way to find a stolen item is to just start accusing everyone (friends, enemies, strangers) you see wearing the same headphones. Likely the person who gets the most defensive is the culprit and you can just yank the headphones right out of their ears and reclaim what is rightfully yours. Make sure you cause as big of a scene as possi-ble so that everybody knows that that person is a dirty thief. Hope this helps. -Heather

Solutions to Last Week’s Puzzles
Rebus Puzzles
Due to the complaints received re-garding the difficulty of the sudoku last week, I have decided that most people need to be handheld. So, I have filled in some of the puzzle for you.
