As you may or may not know

this morning is what Chris&ans call Palm Sunday. It’s a day where we celebrate an event in Jesus' life where he was

honoured and praised by people in the streets as he rode into town on a donkey. It sounds like a rock star moment. But

was it? Soon a/er this event, Jesus was mocked, beaten and killed. And as Jesus rode into town on that donkey, He knew

all of it was coming. So, why would He do it? Why would anyone willingly endure shame and suffering when they could

have a happy, easy life? The ques&on is, what if there's something be�er than a happy, easy life? And what if Jesus is an

example of the best way to live our lives? What if by sharing in His story, we inherit the greatest hope of all?
