Employee theft and workplace fraud aren’tlimited to stealing physical property from an
employer or “cooking the books.”
An employee initiatespurchase orders for goodsor services that are then
diverted for personal use.
Sometimes employees set up fakevendor accounts and create fraudulentinvoices that result in payments made
to the employee.

Procurement fraud occurs when anemployee conspires with a vendor orsales rep to inflate sales in an effort toearn higher bonuses or commissions.

If an employee exploits companyassets or steals corporate data and
