I will need close ups and full length shots for my magazine. This means my images will show the artist and their outfit, also the close ups enable the reader’s to be able to see the details of the artist’s style and make up allowing them to gain tips for their look if they want to look like the artist. I will be using clothing such as skirts, jeans and bright tops. This is because I am going for a more casual look as many of my target audience will not be able to afford designer clothing. Also, this is more the style in which the readers want to see the artists in as they can then copy their style, I will use brightly coloured clothes in order to make it fit with my genre of a pop music magazine and to accurately portray a pop artist’s look.

I will need a guitar as a prop because this suggests the style of the magazine and will entise the reader. Also, I will use someone who has similar style to popular pop artists so they suit my magazine and appeal to the target audience.

I wont need any lighting equipment as we will be outside so I can use the natural light, although I will be taking the pictures furing the day time so that the lighting is more high key rather than low key. However, I will need to ensure the model is wearing appropriate atire for my magazine. She will need to be wearing quite a casual outit as this is the look I am going for.

Potential Hazards/RisksLocation specificWhy?

People could trip over tables and chairs at school, or wires from any lighting and camera’s around the area where the photoshoot is taking place. Also the wires are a fire hazard.

Someone could trip over any wires from any camera or lighing equipment, I will need to ensure I clear the wires and camera’s out of the way whilst doing the photoshoot.

Someone could trip over the steps in my garden or slip on some mud. In order to prevent this I must warn people about these hazards beore hand and ensure everyone is wearing appropriate shoes.
