Roan Mountain Missions Meeting Sunday, May 6, at 5:00PM in the Fel-lowship Hall. All who are interested in helping with either Day Camps or the Family Night programs are asked to attend. Dates are June 25-28. We will pass out flyers and prayer walk at the campground on June 24.

This year’s Townsend Mission Team is Harry & Vickie Ford, Jerry & Ruby McDowell, Rose Marie Jackson, Sue Shambaugh, Donna Myers and Becky Street. Encouragement cards for the team are appreciated. Please pray for them while they are on mission May 29-June 1. Thanks to all who helped with the crackers and gum.

For our Mother’s Day Offering for Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes members are being asked to give an offering in honor or memory of their mother. Please use either the assigned Mother’s Day envelopes or a plain envelope with the information and give to the office by May 9. On Mother’s Day all donations will be recognized in the bulletin.

Children’s Trips Fundraiser Yard Sale is May 4 & 5 from 8:00AM until Noon. Lots of volunteers are needed for pricing, setting up, working the sale and packing up. There are daytime and evening hours available Monday-Thursday for pricing. Items to sell will be accepted all the way to Saturday morning, May 5.

Final CentriKid Camp payment of $65 is due Wednesday, May 9.

VBS Shipwrecked June 3-7. We are in need of Marketplace workers and Group Leaders. Please sign up outside the Sanctuary. Work days are May 16, 17, 24, 30 and 31. See LeAnn or Jason for times.

No meal or classes on Wednesday, May 2. We will be setting up the yard sale. Our last Wednesday meal for the summer will be a fundraiser on May 9. The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 3. This year’s theme is UNITY based on Ephesians 4:3, “Making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” The Carter County Ministerial Association will host a program at the Courthouse May 3 from 12:00-1:00PM on the 2nd Floor. May’s Ladies Night In will be a game night Tuesday, May 15, at 6:00PM.

Graduates will be recognized during the morning worship service on Sunday, May 20.

The monthly Men’s Breakfasts have ended for the summer and will resume on Saturday, August 25, at 9:00AM.

Our annual Chick-fil-A Youth Fundraiser will be Wednesday, May 9. All proceeds will go towards BigStuf summer camp and future youth trips.

The 2nd Youth Camp payment of $100 is due Wednesday, May 30.
