WHAT IS MEANT BY ELECTRONIC OFFICE?
The electronic office, or e-office, was a term coined tocover the increasing use of computer-basedinformation technology for office work, especially inthe 1980s. It was a marketing buzzword at the time,but now is not so widely used since all modernoffices are electronic officesThe introduction of e-office improved accuracy andefficiency of organizations and thereby improvedtheir level of service, while theoretically loweringcosts and drastically reducing the consumption ofpaper.

What is paper chase and what are its
disadvantages?yApaper chase is a system in which everything is
done paper-based and manually.
yMore file cabinets are used to store information. Ifcertain information is needed each file is needed to
be checked.
yLoss of time.yLoss of fuel. If your office is far or because of
traffic rush you need to travel most of the time than
you spend in your office.
