MOTHERSCHOOL5TH DURANNO MOTHER SCHOOL (ENGLISH) Mother School helps you to discover your identity as a daughter, your calling as a wife, your influence as a mother. The course serves to free women from the twisted and secular values of the world and restore a woman’s image that is biblical and help mothers to find a righteous self-image. Only when restoration begins, you will be able to be a spiritual healthy, happy, warm mother; and be one with your husband in fortifying your family. ABOUT DURANNO MOTHER SCHOOL Duranno Mother School finds the reason of Korea’s Crisis in the 21st Century from family problems, where fathers are absent and mothers have lost their rightful identity. Mother School aims to make a cornerstone for a healthy family and society, through the recovery of the rightful image as a woman and a biblical image of a mother in a family.

ALPHA ATSUNTEC Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Meaning of Life from a Christian perspective. Set in a relaxed and informal environment of 10 sessions including a Saturday away. Participants will have dinner, watch a short video and discuss in small groups with a group facilitator. BBTCians who have signed up for the postponed Alpha@BBTC are encouraged to invite their pre believing friends to this Alpha course instead.

BEFRIENDING PROJECT

Bethesda Care Services will be launching a Befriending Project from July 2020 to help at least 100 elderly residing in eastern Singapore to age well physically and cognitively. This project requires at least 50 teams of volunteers who have the passion to adopt an elderly either at the individual level or cell-group level (maximum 3 volunteers per team) for at least six months. All volunteers will be trained to conduct tele-conversations and house visits with the elderly in the short term; as well as to conduct simple exercises with the elderly in the long term. Interested applicants can write to Veronica at veronica@bethesdacare.sg.

BBTC Eagles Football is a ministry that uses football as a means for fellowship and for outreach. We are participating in an inter-church football tournament called the Crossroads Cup that runs from mid March to September. TESTIMONYGOD’S FAITHFULNESSWe have a miracle baby, Ellie, and we desired another child. But when we discovered that it was another difficult journey again because of my health limitations, we felt discouraged. But God reminded me that I could be brave because my Hope is in what Jesus has already done on the cross for me, so I went ahead with surgeries and started IVF soon after.

I held onto Leviticus 26:9 which says “I will look on you with favour and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you.” and knew that if God came through for me in 2015, he will come through for me again. By faith, I responded to altar calls, shared my infertility journey with friends who were also struggling, and trusted God for miracle number 2.

God showed Himself faithful, in all the ups and downs of this story He was writing. Even when the gynae said my case was challenging, He gave me the strength to keep going through the injections. Psalm 9:10 reminded me that “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.” I knew nothing was impossible for God.

I bought Big Sister books for Ellie in faith, telling her that what God says, He will do, and so she started praying and trusting for a sibling too. The IVF process in 2018 did not work out. We grieved, but knew that as long as God did not ask us to give up, we will continue to walk this road in faith. One Sunday, after responding to an altar call, a lady I did not know walked over and said, “God loves you. God loves you. He hasn’t forgotten you.

God loves you.” It brought me to tears.

We started another IVF in 2019, and this was our last round. My circumstances were never stable, but God was always our firm foundation. Just when we thought all was going on smoothly, the IVF process was advised to be cancelled as my hormone levels were too high. We were dumbfounded, but decided in faith to proceed even though it was not what the gynae advised. Praise God, for it did work out! I was reminded of Luke 18:27: “Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

During the 2-weeks wait for the results, our 4-year old came up with this song, which deeply encouraged me to fix my eyes on Jesus:

“He is the One, He’s the only One, who never leaves or forsakes usHe is the One, He’s the Good Shepherd, who holds our hands and walks with usIn the darkness, He didn’t give us darknessHe gave us Light insteadSo instead of the darkness, let us praise HimPraise the Lord, in His Holy Name!”

On 16 December 2019, the mountain of infertility was removed and we received the precious Christmas gift of miracle baby number 2! May this sharing encourage you, all for His glory.
