SCRIPTURE MEDITATIONACTS 2:42, 46-47 (NKJV)And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

ESSENTIALINFORMATIONTESTIMONIALS

TESTIMONIALHi all, my name is Rin Tin Tin, one of the resident hounds here at the Banjara Bible Training Center (BBTC). I know it’s the same acronym as your church over in far-away Singapore, but you should consider yourself blessed to share the same acronym as us.

I want to share with you about some recent happenings here at my BBTC. Don’t think that we animals here are deaf and dumb – we do know quite a bit about what’s going on among the humans who we look after – especially Charlie the Head Cockerel. Ravi, who gets along well with the chickens, often whispers to him about the comings and goings among the humans. And of course Cleo who I look after, along with my sis Clementine and mum Mercy, likes to bounce ideas off us from time to time.

Anyway, recently, some of your human members – David Lim, Terence and Tai Ha Tan, made the long trip here from Singapore, to be the speakers at the Youth camp that BBTC had organized for the youth from around the area. We (humans and animals alike) were all so excited about the upcoming camp, as we were expecting around 50 youths and their pastors to be here for the 3-day camp, which started after lunch on 20th Sep till lunch on 23rd Sep 2017.

David and Terence spoke on a variety of youth-related topics, including challenges of youth, spiritual gifts and spiritual maturity, making wise decisions, giving generously, and Father’s love. Tai Ha also ran a workshop on BGM (Boy-Girl Matters) where we split the boys and girls for separate Q&A following a plenary sharing by her. The Holy Spirit was at work mightily during the camp – 15 of the unsaved youth prayed to receive Jesus during the camp. There was also a deliverance right at the end – after some 1½ hours and supported by praying, commanding and worshipping from many of the other campers.

David told me, whilst tossing a yummy briyani chicken bone to me, that he was happy to see some familiar faces helping out in the training center, and some of them attending the youth camp as pastors now. The last time he met them, they were the youths attending Cleo’s Bible training class. As usual, apart from sharing his testimony and messages to encourage the attendees, he was in turn encouraged by the youths’ hunger for God’s word. Especially more so when you realize many of them actually had to travel 8 hours, some even overnight, to attend this youth camp.

By the way, thanks for your concern and prayers for me – I’m feeling much better now, as the sore on my back is more or less completely healed. My appetite is back and also the energy that I seem to have lost during my illness. I’m more alert at night now for any intruders, having resumed the security duties that I neglected during my MC.

May you all continue to grow in the grace of Jesus and in His peace, love and joy.Take care and God bless,

PUNCTUALITY AND APPROPRIATE DRESSING FOR WORSHIP SERVICESAs an act of reverent worship as unto the Lord, we would like to gently remind BBTCians of the following:

Punctuality – Coming early for our Worship Services honours God and helps us to be better prepared to worship the King of kings, and Lord of lords.

Dress Appropriately - Avoid stumbling or distracting our brothers and sisters in Christ by dressing modestly and appropriately for our Worship Services.

NEWSLETTERTo reduce paper consumption, we will be gradually reducing the print quantity of our newsletters. We encourage BBTCians to view the BBTC newsletter digitally at www.bbtc.com.sg/newsletter.
