A hooded man, identity still unknown, has

alerted the authori-ties of the Republic of Texas. Thaddeus S. Taylor, Ranger of the 66 Company, has asked the Senate to support a military interven-tion in Sabine.

According to Taylor, for the past several months the territory known as the Neutral Fringe has become the hideout of outlaws, indians, slaves, ref-ugees, witches, mex-ican, and the worst scum ever known to mankind.

“If we do not act soon, the hooded man will be problems, so we ask the support of the Confederate States to work together,” Taylor said.

It has become a genre that has provided heroes, villains and stories worthy of myth and cult.

If we add to this the animis-tic ideology of Native Americans, mixed with a little imagination, a pinch of horror, science fiction and steampunk, we have a very in-teresting fusion for a promising retro futuristic tale.

And that is precisely what we have decided to begin in Producciones Mercenarios de Dios (Mercenaries of God Productions), an ambitious project that we have entitled “1875”.

THE IDEA

Our goal is to bring together creatives, experts and the gener-al public who are attracted to the retro-futurism in all its forms and manifestations (Steam-punk, Weird West, Uchronia, Die-selpunk, etc..) so togheter show a centered universe in the year 1875 in a dystopian world where in North America, there are sev-en nations: The United States of America, the Confederation of American States, the Republic of Texas, California, the Mexican Empire, the Canadian Kingdom and the Russian Alaska...

Europe, Connecticut and Rhode Island have been terrorized

by a series of strange deaths, same as those are believed, are attacking Sabine.
