Visa procedure

check if you need Russian visa (perhaps, you hold a passport issued by a visa-free country).

to obtain visa at Russian Embassy / visa centre you need an invitation letter from Lomonosov Moscow State

University.

in order to obtain visa invitation, please send us by email the following information:

1) Scanned copy of your passport (just front page, copies of previous visas are not needed);

2) Full name;

3) Name and address of your institution;

4) Position, title;

5) Place of permanent residency (city, country);

6) City where you plan to apply for Russian visa;

7) Dates of arrival and departure to/from Moscow (normally we put October 18-21 as dates of arrival and departure

in the invitation, however if you would like to arrive a few days earlier or stay a few days longer, please let us

know).

Usually visa invitations for EU participants are produced within 2 weeks. For non-EU participants it may take up to

1-2 months. All invitations will be sent by email as scanned copies. Print it and show at the Russian consulate /

embassy / visa centre when applying for Russian visa.

The event will coincide with the FEJS General Assembly,which will facilitate discussions about journalists'

education from both academics' and students'perspectives.

Executive Board member and master's student of Faculty of Journalism,Lomonosov Moscow State University

Lectures and workshops:

1) FEJS participants will get information about Russian Media

model and media companies: biggest players, current issues,

local trends.

2) They will compare Russian Media model with other known

models and will find out what differences and features exist

due to specific historic periods of the country.

3) They will meet experts and specialists from leading media

company and will discuss their working processes and agenda.

4) They will work together with students and lecturers from

Lomonosov Moscow State University Faculty of Journalism

creating radio and tv programs, multimedia longreads,

newspapers about Russian media companies and their

current issues.

Also during the FEJS General Assembly members will discuss internalproblems and issues of the organization, choose new members ofExecutive Board and Secretariat and next locations for Annual

Next FEJS event will take place in Moscow in

October. Around 50-60 international journalism

students and journalists will take part in EJTA

conference and lectures and workshops specially

for FEJS members.
