Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends, Dear Members of the Foot addict community,

It is my pleasure to welcome all of you in Barcelona to this first EFAS specimen lab course on a “new look” hands-on courses program. This program has been supervised by the EFAS Specimen Committee and will be dedicated to the Forefoot Disorders. Percutaneous and Minimal invasive surgeries techniques will be combined to conventional procedures.

This theme initiates the EFAS 2020 global comprehensive spectrum of Surgical procedures for Foot and Ankle disorders, and will be followed during the upcoming events by a Sports Injuries and Arthroscopy specimen lab session in Paris and then a Hindfoot and ankle modulus, in Augsburg. The purpose of providing an overall program on 2020 is to continue to challenge our perspective and to ensure that EFAS remains leader in the Foot and Ankle Specialty.

Many thanks to Xavier Martin and all the Specimen committee members of EFAS to build up this program and made it possible. I am very grateful also to Xavier Martin as the Local Host, who welcomes again EFAS courses in the stunning Anatomy Department of the Medical School of Barcelona University.

I do hope every participant will enjoy the magic and historical city of Barcelona. The faculty members of this course, all well-recognized European experts in Foot and Ankle, are looking forward to share their opinions, enjoy some challenging discussions and quality time with you.
