    Educational Statistics at a Glance is ahandbook which presents statistical data onimportant educational indicators, differentparametersofschoolandhighereducation,budgetaryexpenditure on education, population, literacy etc.MostofthedatainthehandbookisalreadycontainedinvariouspublicationsoftheMinistry.

    Attempthasbeenmadetopresenttimeseriesdata onnumberof institutions, enrolment aswell asimportant indicators like Gross Enrolment Ratio,GenderParityIndexandPupilTeacherRatio.
