This economic strategy relies on central Illinois residents working together, inclusive of everyone and in a transparent manner to build trust.

Business Growth:500+ new business starts – 600 additional mid-size firms

Poverty Reduction:488 additional families with children (under five) raised out of poverty

Phase One lasts through July 2013. It includes four Milestones that help the region discover assets, create action teams, connect resources and strategies to those assets, refine goals and report on the overall strategy and implementation plans.
