Install Step #1:Our project Toyota Prius Hybrid in need of a GrillCraftGrille.

Install Step #2:In order to install the Lower Bumper Grille, you'llneed to remove the front bumper. Start by removingthe Radiator Fan Cover.

Install Step #3:To remove the Radiator Fan Cover, press down onthe three clips holding it in place to release them.

Install Step #4:Removed, you're vehicle should look like so.

Install Step #5:Next, you'll need to remove the Upper Clips holdingon the top of the bumper to the core support.Remove as shown with a flat screw driver.

Install Step #6:Then remove the two 10mm bolts holding thebumper to the core support.

Install Step #7:In the wheel-well, you'll need to remove the 10mmbolt and clip holding the sides of the bumper. Repeaton other side.

Install Step #8:To remove the clip, turn the head of the clip with a flatscrewdriver a 1/4 turn, then remove it from the clipbody.

Install Step #9:Pull the bumper near the top in the wheel-well, and itshould unclip itself easily.

Install Step #10:On the bottom of the bumper, remove the clipsholding on the lower splash shields(Left & Right) andin the lower center of the bumper.

Install Step #11:Remove the three 10mm bolts on the Left, Right &Center underneath the bumper.

Install Step #12:To completely remove the bumper, disconnect thelighting harness directly behind the bumper of thedriver's side.

Install Step #13:The bumper should be completely free of the vehicleand come off smoothly now.

Install Step #14:Take the Lower Grille and insert it into the LowerBumper opening.

Install Step #15:Holding the grille firmly into the opening of thebumper, use a scribe to mark the location of themounting holes through the tabs on the Left & Rightof the grille.

Install Step #16:Holding the grille firmly into the opening of thebumper, use a scribe to mark the location of themounting holes through the tabs on the Center Top &Bottom of the grille.

Install Step #17:Holding the grille firmly into the opening of thebumper, use a scribe to mark the location of themounting holes through the tabs on the Center Top &Bottom of the grille.

Install Step #18:Using a 3/16 drill bit, drill the mounting holespreviously marked with the scribe.

Install Step #19:Remove the included hardware from its' packaging.

Install Step #20:Locate the included 5/8" Screw and Flat Nut.

Install Step #21:Tighten the screw and flat nut to the bottom mountingtab of the grille. The bottom tab is the shorter tab ofthe two.

Install Step #22:Install the included U-Nuts onto the Left & Right tabsof the grille as shown.

Install Step #23:Install the included U-Nuts onto the Top Center tab ofthe grille as shown.

Install Step #24:Place the grille into the Lower Bumper Opening usingthe tightened screw as a guide pin for the grille.

Install Step #25:With the grille properly placed, the fitment should beperfect as shown.

Install Step #26:Locate the included 1/2" Screw and Washer. Thesewill be used to tighten the Sides & Top of the grille.

Install Step #27:The screw should fit into the Left and Right sides ofthe bumper and shown. Then tighten it to the U-Nutin the grille.

Install Step #28:On top of the grille, the mounting should be asshown. Then tighten the screw to the U-Nut in thegrille.

Install Step #29:If the original front license plate bracket is used, it willneed to be trimmed.

Install Step #30:Using tape as a guide, tape off the back section ofthe bracket following the original mold line on thesides.

Install Step #31:With the tape removed, you should now have a lowerprofile bracket, that will fit perfectly onto the bumper.

Install Step #32:Re-install the bumper onto the vehicle reverse of theremoval process. Your final result should look likeshown! Our project Prius shown with GrillCraft Upper& Lower MX Series silver mesh grilles.
