The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 2

By: Mikaela Bork Coming out Fri-day, November 20, 2015, and rated PG-13, this is the second of the two-part sequel to the 2013 film Catching Fire, based on the 2010 novel by Su-zanne Collins. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 now brings the fran-

chise to its powerful fourth chapter in which Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Law-rence) realizes the stakes are no longer just for survival. She teams with Gail, Finnick and Peeta, and goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increas-ingly obsessed with destroying her.

Bucket Hats

The CGB Student Council has been very active in the community already this year. On September 18, the Homecoming King and Queen candidates visited different places to sell Homecoming buttons. Some of the places they visited included the Clinton Care Cen-ter, Frandsen Bank and Trust and the Clinton Graceville Beardsley Elementary School. Other opportunities will be coming up soon so more people can get involved! You can assist with turkey bingo on November 15 or Santa Days on December 5. If you are interested in helping, contact Donna Layman as soon as possible! Helping around the community is also a great way for the NHS members to earn their service hours and qualify for the Graceville Women’s Organization Scholarship, but you don’t have to be in NHS or Student Council to do some good. Check around and see where you’re needed!
