Duties and Responsibilities for the post
Senior Physiotherapist
1. Management
supervisionof the physiotherapydepartment.
2. Maintain disciplinein the physiotherapydepartment to ensuresmooth functioning of
the department.
3. Responsiblefor the upgradation of department. Developand revisepolicies,procedures
andbudgetsfor the physiotherapydepartment.
4. Providingphysiotherapyto patients particularly the complicated ones.
5. Supervisethe Physiotherapygivento the patients by his/her juniors. Modify andfinalise
the Physiotherapeuticmanagementplanwhen required.
6. Co_ ordination with different specialistsreferring the patients to physiotherapy
department.
7. Responsibleor selection coordination and supervisionof staff.
8. Member of the selectionboard for recruitments of physiotherapist/occupational
therapist.
9. Writing confidential report of physiotherapist/occupational therapist and other staff
postedin the department.
10.Responsibleor arrangingclinicalmeeting,CMES,workshopsetc. for educational
upgradationandenhancementof in the-field includingarrangingmultidisciplinary
researchprograms.
11.To look after administration work to upgradethe quality of accessories,equipment
etc.
12.Responsibleor purchase,maintenanceand condemnationof equipments.
13.Memb.erof purchasecommittee, technical specificationcommittee andbid evaluation
commlttee for the physiotherapydepartment.
