It’s been a great year. Please join us for 4-year-old and Kindergarten graduation ceremonies on June 4th and 5th. These will take place in the Sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. following “Doughnuts with Dad” in your child’s classroom. Our graduates have a special performance planned for the big day. We are so proud of their accomplishments this year. They have grown and changed so much!

Mrs. Jones Ms. Williams

How can the end of the school year be here so quickly? Tempest fugit I guess. During the months of May &

June we will be observing rockets and rocks. We will end the year with Mentos and Coke and lots of carbon

dioxide!

Extended Care this month was given a donation of two “PlasmaCars.” Yes, imagine my thoughts when mom, Tasha Keys said she was donating two “PlasmaCars.” My mind started wondering, what are these thing made out of? I had no idea what she was bringing my students and staff. So I did what any trained educator would do... went to the website: “The Original PlasmaCar is an innovative, ride-on toy that harnesses the natural forces of inertia, centrifugal force, friction, and kid power. No batteries, gears, or pedals. Patented safety seat design places rider in a safe, comfortable position and minimizes tipping. Use indoors or out on a smooth, flat surface. Supports up to 220 lbs./99.8 kg.” After seeing these wonderful creations in action, I wish I had more. The kids and staff love them. They are an answer to the rainy day blues and “what can we do in the gym?” Most of the children from ages 2 years to the kindergarteners can ride these vehicles with little or no effort. We have used them in relays, playing ball and just overall fun in the gym. In the pictures below, you see students in a relay race with the “PlasmaCars” attempting to get all the letters to spell “EASTER.” Questions contact: Laurel Bradford [email protected]
