MD 520 – the premium disinfection for dentures and impressions

Impressions and dentures can be microbiologically

contaminated and infectious. Thus, there is a high demand

for safe disinfection and cleaning. Dürr Dental also offers

a corresponding system solution – MD 520.

Workstation and patient are equally protected, and short

reaction times ensure problem-free surgery operations.

Furthermore, the extraordinary compatibility of material

also ensures the dimensional stability – simply precise,

simply Dürr Dental.

Daily disinfection of the suction unit is a standard procedure

in any surgery. Although most suction units are disinfected,

they are not cleaned – however, this is required at least once

per week. Blood, secretions, tooth material and prophylaxis

powder form a very viscous slush, which is best removed

using the MD 555 Cleaner. Decrease of suction power,

deposits, cloggings and defects are effectively avoided.

OD 600 CHX 0.2 % mouth rinsing solution

OD 600 CHX 0.2 % by Dürr Dental – highly effective

and alcohol-free. The mouth rinsing solution contains the

antibacterial active component chlorhexidine digluconate

(CHX) for the preventative reduction of the microbial flora

in the saliva and on the oral mucosa as well as for the

prevention of inflammation. The antibacterial effect of

chlorhexidine has been proven in numerous scientific studies.

This particularly gentle and alcohol-free formula is ideal for

the prevention of plaque and caries. OD 600 CHX 0.2 %

has a significant share in preventing new growth of plaque-

producing bacteria and can be applied, depending on the

indication and medical prescription, on a daily basis for

protection against caries and periodontitis.

Ideally suited for primary care following periodontal therapy,

in case of bacterial gingivitis or periodontitis in the context of

a "full-mouth disinfection". Also ideal for the germ reduction in

the aerosol for the protection of the surgery team. To be used

perioperatively for patients with increased infectious risk and

for all dental-surgical and oral-surgical operations.

Also with mouth rinsing solutions, Dürr Dental does not leave anything to chance.

OD 600 CHX 0.2 % provides everything regarding efficacy and infection prevention –

including a fresh taste and appealing design.

If used postoperatively, the effective components CHX

and witch hazel support the healing process. Additionally,

sodium fluoride mineralises the tooth enamel and contributes

to caries protection with caries-reducing xylitol. The sugar

substitute xylitol makes OD 600 CHX 0.2 % suitable for

diabetics. The selected aromatic substances prevent bad

breath caused by bacteria and give a fresh breath.
