EPA 608 Technician Certification The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires all individuals who install, service or maintain appliances, containing refrigerants, to be certified. This course prepares you for successful completion of the EPA’s Section 608 Universal Technician certification of Stationary Equipment. Test booklet are available to study outside of class time, with three opportunities to complete certification. *Each clinical facility may accept or deny any student based on information obtained from a background check. Days and times of clinical rotations will vary because of facility availability. Clinical rotations may require weekends, evening or night hours, including 8- or 12-hour shifts. Spaces in clinical rotation at clinical sites are limited and students must adjust their schedules to attend the clinical rotations when they come available.

Courses showing a syringe require childhood immunization records, including a current TB test and Hepatitis B series or waiver form. For some courses, you will also need MMR, varicella records, and a background check form. Requirements may vary.

Some courses require skills practiced at different clinical facilities. Additional requirements will be determined by each facility and must be met prior to clinical rotations.

Study the anatomy of the human body in-depth to understand the body systems and functions. Examples include systems, planes, cavities and regions.
