Summary

Planar are of a fixed stator and a rotor movable or built several modules, the stator consists of a flatmetal plate with a tooth structure. The rotor consists of two orthogonal electromagnetic components anddistributed tooth structure at the surface with a well-defined phase offset from pole to pole. The built-inair vents provide a stable air gap between the stator and the rotor modules. There are two types ofPlanar available: with Hall sensor feedback and without position feedback.

Special Advantages

Planar can perform a rotational movement with virtually no shift in the axis of rotation. The axis ofrotation moves it to a maximum of +/- 2 periods of the magnetic stator. A magnetic period is 0.64 or1.00 mm (for planar motors with Hall sensor feedback).

Air magnetic storage is a guarantee for the excellent repeatability and long life for the coordinatesystems.

Slip Rings

Slip rings can be used for any electromechanical system that requires a full, continuous rotation whiletransferring power and / or data from a stationary to a rotating structure.This is called the slip ring and rotating electrical connection, collector, swivel or rotary joint.

The SRH series benefits from a special technology that makes itpossible to produce multiple points of contact between brushes andrings, and a low friction with minimal mechanical noise and lowwear. No greasing required..

SRC Series

Thanks to the cheap ring diameter guarantees the SRC series both a low peripheral speed betweenbrushes and rings, and a reduced dynamic imbalance, causing less wear and tear with the result.
